The Youth Sailing Programme is designed to create a progression through all abilities and stages of learning from beginner taster sessions through to providing a long-term way to enjoy the sport of sailing whether it be participation for fun or a competitive environment.

Taster Sessions

Taster Sessions provide an entry point for those looking to ‘Try Sailing’ or get a feel for the Club. Club Membership is not required. Taster Session fees are discounted from membership fees.

Learn to Sail

Learn to Sail Courses are open to everyone and are an ideal way to gain a basic understanding of sailing skills. Club Membership is not a requirement.

Sail for Fun

Sailing for fun offers coaching and instruction on the basics of sailing and is geared towards the beginner/ improving sailor. Online booking is a requirement with Club Membership a requirement.

Bright Night Sailing

Bright Night Sailing is an opportunity to develop sailing skills and experience a sailing programme which introduces racing. Ideal for those who have gained a level of experience on a Learn to Sail course or Sail for Fun sessions. It is ideally suited to the more independent sailor.

Performance Pathway

Performance Pathway is a development course for those who wish to progress their skills in sailing and racing. It will follow a training plan aimed at developing the skills of the sailor.

Performance Sailing

Performance Sailing is an opportunity to put skills to the test with a racing series and introduction to a racing competitively.
